Bob was an icon like no other, every misfit has somehow found his door open to them only to come out a little better,a little wiser, and definetly more inspired. He’s the reason I climb trees to hang a gnome or a crudely painted tile. He will forever inspire all who knew him personally and those who hope to have his confidence and creativity in every action he made. I love Bob, I would not be here without him, and there will never be another that could compare. He will be missed….
Any idea what will happen to his art? I really want to curate an art show in his name at a downtown MKE hotel I work for. It would be awesome to invite anyone who currently owns any of his pieces to bring them.
I remember my wife & daughter making x-rated gingerbread men xmas tree ornaments (OMG) for Bob’s Triple X art show, held annually in an alley in downtown Milwaukee. I just ran across some photos the other day of Bob arriving at the show in a big red convertible(?) filled with objects d’art.
